Facial Expression Recording Guide
- Start with a neutral expression and then make the strongest expression possible (repeat once).
- Maintain a neutral expression for about 2 seconds at the beginning.
- After making the expression, hold it for about 2 seconds.
- Ensure that your eyebrows are not covered.
- Keep your face directed at the camera at all times.
- Maintain a consistent distance from the camera.
- Avoid any upward, downward, left, or right rotation of your face.
Note: Items 5–7 can be adjusted through alignment correction, but following these guidelines will improve analysis accuracy.

Facial Analysis Details
Delta (Δ) Value: The x-axis shows frames, and the y-axis shows changes. The red line indicates the expression, and the green line indicates the neutral state.
Neutral Facial State: Image extracted in a neutral state (frame with the smallest Δ value, or the largest value if eyes are closed).
Post-expression State: Image extracted with expression (frame with the highest Δ value, or the lowest value if eyes are closed).
Before Registration: Pre-registration landmark graph (Neutral: Blue, Expression: Red)
After Registration: Post-registration landmark graph (Neutral: Blue, Expression: Red)
